Sound familiar?

Why good builders get passed over online.

01

Word of mouth only goes so far

Referrals are great until they dry up. When someone checks you out online, a Facebook page or a one-page site doesn't show the size and quality of your work.

What we do

Your finished projects go on your own site, so the people a referral sends your way can see what you've built.

02

Homeowners compare three quotes

On a job this size, people shortlist carefully. The builder with clear photos, proper reviews and a professional site is the one who looks safe to trust.

What we do

Project photos, reviews and the work you cover are laid out so you look like the safe pair of hands.

03

Enquiries arrive with no detail

“Can you price an extension?” and nothing else. You end up chasing plans, sizes and postcodes before you know if it's even your kind of job.

What we do

The form asks for the type of work, a rough budget and timescale, and plans or photos, before it sends.

What goes on a builder's site

Built around how builders win work.

People are trusting you with their home and a lot of money. Your site shows them exactly what you've built and makes it easy to start the conversation.

Project pages with the full story

Before, during and after photos, with what you built and what the customer wanted.

Before-and-after sliders

Drag-to-compare photos that show exactly what changed.

A page for each service

Extensions, loft conversions, renovations, new builds. Each gets its own page, so you're found for what you actually do.

Pages for the towns you work in

Built around real jobs in each area, not copy-pasted town names.

Quote forms that qualify the job

Customers choose the type of work, rough budget and timescale, and add photos or plans before they send.

Set up to be found

Search-friendly titles, structured data, a sitemap and Google Search Console, all set up for you.

The TPS Installations homepage

TPS Installations

Builders · Ferndown, Dorset

TPS Installations is a Ferndown firm covering seven trades, from extensions and loft conversions to kitchens, bathrooms, driveways and roofing. Their site puts Kevin's Checkatrade record up front, explains the work that goes in under the finish, and asks for your postcode first so he knows straight away if you're in his area.

  • Every trade they cover in one place
  • Checkatrade score on show
  • Postcode check before the quote form

FAQ

Builder questions, answered.

Very little. Send us your photos and a few notes about the jobs you're proudest of, and we'll do the rest.

No. Progress shots from your phone work well, especially befores and afters of the same spot.

It can ask the questions you'd ask on the phone: the type of work, a rough budget, the timescale and the postcode. You see the answers before you ring back, so you can call the jobs that fit first.

Nobody can honestly promise rankings. What we do is give Google everything it needs: a page for each service and town you cover, proper titles and structured data, and a sitemap with Search Console set up. Reviews and time do the rest. On the Local plan we also tidy up your Google Business Profile, which is where most “near me” results come from.
